    Company · London

For the UK, Amazon Web Services' quantum role is cloud access and networking rather than hardware. When its Amazon Braket service expanded to the London region in February 2022, the first processor it offered there was Lucy, an eight-qubit superconducting device from Oxford Quantum Circuits. In July 2023 HSBC's trial on the BT and Toshiba quantum-secured London network included a connection to AWS edge infrastructure, and AWS is a named project partner in the Integrated Quantum Networks hub led by Heriot-Watt University.

Amazon Web Services is a company in London. It appears as a partner in QCi3, IQN and London Quantum-Secured Metro Network.
