    Terms of use

    These terms apply when you use quantum.org.uk (the "Site"), which Hadamard LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Hadamard", "we" or "us"), owns and operates. By using the Site you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it.

    1. Information, not advice

    The Site describes UK quantum technology organisations, projects and funding for general information. It is not investment, legal, financial or professional advice, and should not be the only basis for any business or investment decision. Check anything important with the original source.

    2. Accuracy and sources

    Records are compiled from public sources, which are cited. Organisations change quickly and sources can be wrong or out of date, so we do not promise that every detail is complete, accurate or current. Funding figures show only what a source states for a project.

    3. Using the content and data

    You may read, share and link to any page. The downloadable data may be reused with attribution, as set out on the open data page. The Site's design and the quantum.org.uk name and logo belong to Hadamard LLC; other logos and names belong to their owners and appear only to identify them (see the legal page).

    4. Acceptable use

    • Use the Site only for lawful purposes.
    • Do not try to disrupt or overload the Site, or gain unauthorised access to it or the systems it runs on.
    • Use the CSV and JSON downloads rather than automated scraping that sends more requests than a person reasonably would.
    • Do not transmit harmful code, or present the content in a way that suggests an organisation endorses you or the Site.

    5. External links

    The Site links to other websites, including source documents and our sister sites Entangled Future and Quantum Zeitgeist. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of websites we do not operate.

    6. No warranty

    The Site is provided free, "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.

    7. Liability

    To the fullest extent the law allows, Hadamard LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, data or goodwill, or any other loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its data.

    Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

    8. Your responsibility

    To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer because you broke these terms.

    9. Changes

    We may change the Site or these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the date above shows the latest version.

    10. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live, including the UK or an EU member state, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts.

    11. Severability

    If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest still applies.
