Company · Delft
ISISPACE, a small-satellite manufacturer in Delft, supplied the spacecraft for the UK's first quantum key distribution CubeSat. The UK Quantum Communications Hub awarded it the SPOQC mission in November 2022, and the 12U satellite, carrying a quantum transmitter built by the University of Bristol, launched on a SpaceX Transporter-16 rocket on 30 March 2026. The Heriot-Watt-led IQN Hub now runs the mission, sending quantum signals to an optical ground station in Edinburgh.
ISISPACE is a company based in Delft (outside the UK), included here for its part in UK quantum projects. It appears as a partner in SPOQC.
