nodeQ writes software for planning quantum and quantum-safe networks. Its telaQ digital twin lets operators model QKD and post-quantum links before they build them, or design networks that join up quantum processors, and its PQtunnel application carries traffic through post-quantum encrypted TLS or SSH tunnels. Founded in 2021 by University of York professor Stefano Pirandola, it is an industrial partner in the Integrated Quantum Networks hub and was one of ten partners in BT's QAssure project on QKD assurance. In January 2026 it joined Numana's Kirq testbed in Canada to run telaQ on a live experimental network.
