    Company · Dalgety Bay

PowerPhotonic makes freeform micro-optics: beam shapers, microlens arrays and beam combiners machined directly into fused silica, sold mainly for industrial, defence and medical lasers. The company is based in Dalgety Bay, Fife, and its quantum work came through QT Assemble, a Quantum Technologies Challenge consortium led by Fraunhofer CAP in Glasgow that set out to shrink lasers, photon sources, detectors and cold-atom sources into robust integrated devices. Its own site does not currently present quantum as a market.

PowerPhotonic is a Dalgety Bay company. It appears as a partner in QT Assemble.

Famous for some of the best universities around, so it should be no surprise that Quantum technologies feature heavily in the portfolio. Welcome to Q
