Capgemini's Quantum Lab works on quantum chemistry and materials simulation, quantum algorithms and post-quantum cryptography, with UK expertise including Cambridge Consultants, part of Capgemini Invent. The group operates an IBM Quantum hub and counts King's College London among its research partners. In the UK, Capgemini UK plc headed QuantiCo, an NQCC SparQ proof of concept with Airbus, King's College London and the NQCC that used molecular embedding methods to model oxygen reduction on aluminium alloy surfaces, the chemistry behind corrosion. That cohort of projects ran until the end of March 2025.
