    Gallium nitride solid-state power amplifiers for radar, electronic warfare and communications are Diamond Microwave's main line, and TMD Technologies took a stake in the West Yorkshire business in February 2020. Its quantum link is modest but concrete: it joined Universal Quantum's Innovate UK consortium for an error-corrected trapped-ion processor (February 2022 to March 2025) as a microwave subsystem supplier, part of an effort to build a UK quantum computing supply chain. Gateway to Research shows a grant offer of £14,951 against project costs of £21,358.
