    Start-up · Glasgow

Neuranics makes magnetic field sensors based on tunnelling magnetoresistance, a quantum effect in which electrons tunnelling through a magnetic junction change its electrical resistance in step with the surrounding field, and pairs them with its own amplifier chips and AI software. The Glasgow company was spun out of the universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh in 2021 and raised £1.9 million in pre-seed funding led by Par Equity. Early products targeted heart monitoring through clothing, and in June 2026 it launched a development kit that detects and logs picotesla-level fields over USB or Bluetooth for industrial, wearable and health uses.

Neuranics, based in Glasgow, is a start-up whose work covers quantum sensing, magnetometers and semiconductor; it was founded in 2021. No project in this directory lists it yet.
