    Ecosystem and network · Bristol

Set up at the University of Bristol in 2016 with EPSRC money, the Quantum Technology Enterprise Centre gave quantum researchers a route from the lab into start-ups. By October 2021 Bristol credited it with 28 active companies that had raised over £57m and created more than 175 UK jobs, and it had launched QUEST, a six-month pre-incubator for university researchers. The university now describes QTEC in the past tense, noting that the National Quantum Technologies Programme phase it belonged to closed in July 2022.

QTEC is a Bristol network working on quantum accelerator, computing and sensing, founded in 2016. It is not yet linked to a UK project in this directory.
