    Start-up · Southampton

Southampton Science Park is home to QuJiT (Quantum Just-in-Time), whose research effort is an energy-aware control layer that sits between quantum hardware and the algorithms run on it, meant to keep processors stable as they scale. Alongside that, it resells SpinQ machines, from two-qubit desktop NMR quantum computers for teaching to a superconducting system of 20 to more than 100 qubits. Founded by Susan Forrester (CEO) and Michael Forrester (CTO), the company took SETsquared's Transforming Tomorrow award for deep tech in November 2024, three months after joining the Science Park's Catalyst Programme.

QuJiT, based in Southampton, is a start-up whose work covers quantum control, hardware and education; it was founded in 2017. It is not yet linked to a UK project in this directory. Profiled here: Susan Forrester (CEO).
