    Qinara is an Edinburgh start-up writing a software layer to run optimisation, cybersecurity and biomedical workloads across hybrid quantum and classical hardware. Its most concrete output so far is Qronos, a quantum circuit optimiser trained by deep reinforcement learning: in November 2025 the company reported gate-count reductions of 73 to 89% on the circuits it tested, with results 42 to 71% smaller than those from Qiskit, TKET, Quartz and Quarl, and released the before-and-after circuit files. These are the company's own figures and have not been independently checked. Qinara Ltd was incorporated in Scotland in November 2024.
