Crypta Labs makes quantum random number generators from an optics module built with cheap, off-the-shelf discrete parts instead of custom silicon, and licenses the design to hardware makers who want to embed it. Products run from a £200 USB starter device producing about 1,950 random numbers a second to a rack-mounted data-centre appliance with four 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet ports, while custom designs reach 10 Gb/s of entropy. The London company, incorporated in 2014, is a project partner in the Integrated Quantum Networks hub, and in September 2026 it published design guidance for OEMs building entropy sources into FPGA and microcontroller products.
Crypta Labs is a London company working on quantum communications, cryptography and hardware, founded in 2014. It is a partner in 1 UK project: IQN.
