    QuantrolOx sells Quantum EDGE, software that uses machine learning to automate bringing up, characterising and tuning superconducting qubits, a job it says otherwise takes one to two days per qubit. The University of Oxford spin-out, led by co-founder Vishal Chatrath, keeps an Oxford office and is a partner in the QCi3 national quantum computing hub. In August 2026 it launched Quantum EDGE Academy with QURECA, a simulated lab for training engineers, and in September 2026 it opened a Berkeley office after signing a five-year agreement with UC Berkeley's Roger Herst Quantum Nexus.
