Riverlane works on one problem: correcting qubit errors quickly enough for a quantum computer to be useful. From Cambridge it sells Deltaflow, an FPGA-based decoding system designed to sit beneath any type of qubit, and gives away Deltakit, an open-source Python toolkit for designing and simulating error-correction experiments. In the UK it led the Innovate UK-funded AutoQT consortium on automated qubit tuning and is a partner in the QCi3 computing hub. In September 2026 it agreed with Infleqtion to test its stack on Infleqtion's neutral-atom system at the National Quantum Computing Centre, the same month it opened a US headquarters in Maryland.
