IP Group, the London-listed company that builds businesses from university research, had already invested in quantum hardware companies including Quantum Motion and Oxford Quantum Circuits when UKRI selected it in August 2020 to run its Investment Partnership in Quantum Technology, a £12 million scheme. Funded through the Commercialising Quantum Technologies Challenge, the scheme paired up to £6 million of grants with at least matching equity, and was open to existing start-ups and to academics yet to form a company. Its fund management arm, Parkwalk Advisors, co-led Phasecraft's £750,000 pre-seed round in 2019.
IP Group is a London investor working on quantum hardware and computing, founded in 2001. It is not yet linked to a UK project in this directory.
