    SpinOr

    Start-up · Manchester

SpinOr aims to shrink superconducting quantum computers to a single rack so that research sites can run them in-house instead of renting time over the cloud. The company was incorporated in August 2025 with its registered office at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory. Its first public funding was a £47,505 Innovate UK project, Compact Superconducting Quantum Computer, which ran from November 2025 to April 2026 to fabricate pilot qubit wafers, publish specifications for linking the system to HPC clusters and recruit beta users.

Founded in 2025, SpinOr is a start-up in Manchester focused on quantum hardware, superconducting qubits and computing. It is not yet linked to a UK project in this directory.
