The universities of Sussex and Bristol launched this £24 million Centre for Doctoral Training in 2024. It was one of 65 new EPSRC centres announced in March 2024. The funding comes from EPSRC, industry and other government bodies, including £11.6 million from project partners.
It offers fully funded four-year PhD programmes, starting from September 2024. Partners include the National Quantum Computing Centre, the National Physical Laboratory, BT, Hewlett Packard, Oxford Instruments, PsiQuantum and Universal Quantum.
