Silicon Cloverleaf testbed (Quantum Motion)
A silicon spin qubit quantum computing testbed built for the National Quantum Computing Centre under its 2024 testbed programme.
Project data last updated 11 October 2026
About this project
Quantum Motion, a London company, built a testbed called Silicon Cloverleaf that uses spin qubits on a silicon chip.
The company said in September 2025 that it had delivered a full-stack quantum computer made with a standard silicon CMOS process to the NQCC. It was the first silicon spin-qubit system installed under the testbed programme.
